Victoria returns to zero COVID cases as restrictions easing is paused due to Australian outbreaks

 Victoria has returned to ‘Donut Days’ with zero local COVID-19 cases recorded on Thursday.

There are currently 31 active cases in the state and a huge 29,149 tests were done on Wednesday.

The state has had a run of zero local daily cases, but it was briefly broken on Wednesday when a case linked to a known outbreak was recorded.

This comes after Victoria’s plans to further ease restrictions have been put on hold due to COVID-19 outbreaks across the country.
