G-Star Australia collapses, 200 jobs lost as retailer fails to find a buyer
The administrators of denim retailer G-Star Australia have been unable to find a buyer for the business, effectively sacking 200 workers in the process.
G-Star Australia entered administration in May, citing tough retail conditions that were exacerbated by COVID-19 restrictions.
Administrators Justin Walsh, Stewart McCallum and Sam Freeman of Ernst & Young were appointed to investigate solutions to save the retailer.
